Who we are

Choose Our Clinic,
Choose The Best Care

Thank you for choosing Neem Dental clinic. We hope to introduce you to preventive dental care by working together to show you how to look after your teeth and gums so that you can enjoy dental health for life.

However, if more active treatment is required you can rest assured that it will be carried out to the very highest standard that we can achieve. And here at Neem Dental we pride ourselves on providing dentistry in a caring and friendly environment and equally importantly – gentle on your pocket.

Practice Information

We are a private dental practice and due to our unique location in High Street at Harrow. We are able to provide high quality, affordable dentistry to both the local community and surrounding businesses.

Our main emphasis is on preventative dentistry and consequently we have hygienist and an Oral Health Educator to help achieve these ends. However, when more extensive dentistry is required, we offer a wide choice of treatments including general dental care, cosmetic dentistry, Invisible braces, Teeth whitening and Emergency appointments.

Our practice offers a warm and friendly environment with highly trained and motivated staff. Whilst treatment is being carried out why not relax watching and/or listening our music entertainment! Either bring your own or choose from our extensive library.

Treatment Plans

Your dentist can provide a full range of treatment for you including conservative and cosmetic dentistry.

After a thorough clinical examination, your dentist will describe the treatment that he or she recommends, an estimate of its cost and any alternatives that are available. Any relevant risks will be discussed. Where appropriate, the dentist will use photographs and other visual aids to help explain the treatment. Please do not hesitate to ask questions – we want to be sure that you fully understand and agree with the proposed treatment. The dentist can give you some information to take home to help, if you’re unsure of any aspect of the treatment.

Most treatment is usually necessary to remove disease. To maintain oral health, you need to follow the advice your dentist or hygienist may give you relating to your treatment. Home care plays a major role in preventing further problems and that in turn will help you keep an attractive smile, eat in full comfort and should minimise the need for future treatment. If you do not understand your part in your care, please do ask for an explanation.

We will always attempt to fulfil your requirements for a ‘beautiful smile’ in conjunction with healthy teeth and gums. Be assured that if anything is beyond the skills of the practice, a referral to an appropriate specialist will be made at the earliest opportunity.

Appointment times

We provide a range of appointment times for patients. Our dentists do have very full appointment diaries so if you need to cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Appointments that are not kept, or those cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are customarily subject to a charge.
We will always try to see patients at the appointed time. We do realise how irritating it is to be kept waiting, but if you are, please be patient as there is normally a good reason.

Confidentiality

We take great care to ensure that our patient records are maintained in strict confidence. We have Confidentiality, Data Protection and Data Security policies. Should you wish to have further information, please let us know.
Repairs and replacements

Our dental treatment is provided to a very high standard. But occasionally treatment may need to be replaced or repairs may need to be undertaken. Our practice policy is normally to provide repairs or replacements free of charge if the treatment fails within one year. Full or partial refunds may also be given. Please contact us immediately if you experience difficulty with any treatment that we have provided.

If you have any comments

We recognise that regular feedback helps us improve our services. So, if you have any comments or complaints about the care or service you have received at the practice then do please contact Dr Pratheeba Thiru who will always do her best in dealing with any comment expediently and courteously.

Patient safety

As a caring and modern practice, we take every precaution to safeguard you and our staff from infection. We closely follow current government cross infection guidelines. All equipment is sterilised, and disposable items used wherever possible.

X-rays

Radiographic examination is necessary to detect problems early, but we are aware of the dangers of radiation and all our equipment is correctly maintained and certified. Consequently, with safety in mind, we have installed a digital x-ray system which uses extremely low doses of radiation.

Complaints

We do have a practice in-house complaints procedure in accordance with current government guidelines. If you do have any problems, please mention this to the Receptionist and the appropriate procedures will be instigated. It is of prime concern to us that the highest standards are achieved. Your views are important; please discuss any problems you have with any member of staff and every effort will he made for you to obtain satisfaction. However, if your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction you can seek addition help and advice from the Dental Complaints Service for private patients.
