Meet Dr. Mandeep Birah

Dr. Mandeep Birah is a highly experienced dentist with over 20 years of clinical practice, dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care. She graduated as a dentist in 2001 and, after passing the MFDS (RCSEd) in 2012, became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

Dr. Birah has a deep passion for periodontics, specialising in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum and bone disease. She completed her MSc in Clinical Periodontology with Merit from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Preston in 2016, enabling her to provide advanced periodontal treatments that help patients maintain their natural teeth for longer. Her treatments include scaling and root planing, gum surgery, regeneration procedures, and periodontal maintenance programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Birah is committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. She actively teaches dental hygiene students, guiding them in best practices for periodontal care, patient education, and disease prevention. She believes that empowering patients and future clinicians with knowledge is key to long-term oral health.

Dr. Birah also serves as a postgraduate examiner of MFDS for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology, contributing to the advancement of her field.

Outside of dentistry, Mandeep is happily married with two children and lives in North West London. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, travelling, and music.
