Wedding Day Planning
As part of the wedding process try to factor in your dental appointments. You will need to consider in the time taken to carry out the dental treatment. At the very least, we recommend that you visit the dental hygienist in the weeks before your wedding.
What options for treatment do you have?
Pre-wedding treatments depend on your smle goals how long you have before your wedding.
Get your teeth sparkly and clean for your wedding day
A simple visit to the dental hygienist can ensure your teeth are clean before your big day. This is a 30 minute appointment and can be carried out in the days leading to your wedding.
A deep polish
Have an air polish to remove any deep set stains. This is a 30 minute appointment and can be carried out in the days leading to your wedding.
Tooth whitening to improve the colour of your teeth
There are many tooth whitening options available to you. However, you should leave at least 6 weeks before your wedding to have this treatment carried out. That allows enough time to ensure you get a great result. See our tooth whitening page for more information.
Composite bonding
We can carry out minor tooth modifications with tooth coloured fillings to improve your smile. Again, we advise this is carried out a minimum of 6 weeks before your wedding. Longer, if you are combining with tooth whitening.
Dental Veneers
These are porcelain laminate shells that fit onto the front of your teeth. They require only very minimal preparation of your teeth. We recommend that this treatment is provided at least three months before your wedding day.
Smile Makeover
Many patients consider a smile makeover. This is not actually any one treatment, but a combination of one or more of the above treatments. The time taken to complete the treatment depends on which treatments you undergo.
